It has been a wonderful start to the school year, and I want to thank you for your support! I am confident that your children have come home excited to share their new experiences. I am also sure that they are tired as they adjust to the fall routines. I wish you a wonderful long weekend, school resumes on Tuesday, September 3, at 9 a.m.
Key Information
You will receive a weekly communication from your child’s teacher, in which they will update you on key pieces of information from their individual classrooms.
Our Welcome Back Breakfast will be on September 13 in the morning from 8:00- 9:00 a.m.
School Breakfast Program: Monday to Thursday 8:25 a.m. -8:45 a.m. There is no breakfast program on Fridays. Students will be greeted at 8:25 a.m. at the front school door (Centre Street entrance) and at 8:45 a.m. breakfast program students go outside, where there will be teacher supervision.
Meet the teacher night will be Thursday, September 26, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. This will be a casual drop in format, not a parent-teacher conference. Come when you can and please bring your child/children with you. To our EES parents, your teachers will be in touch, as you will have 1-1 meetings with them during this time frame.
Next week we welcome 3 third-year student teachers from Mount Royal University. They will be working in our Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 6 classrooms.

Grade 1 – Grade 6 and EES:

9:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m.
Friday:
9:00 a.m. - 1:20 p.m. (apologies for the mix-up on the previous communication)
