Regular and prompt attendance is important for all students. Children learn responsibility by being punctual. If your child is going to be absent or late please contact the school office at 403-777-6260 ‘1’ before 9:00 AM to let us know. If your child is ill, please leave a message explaining the symptoms.
If the school is not contacted, we will phone you as soon as possible after attendance is taken in the morning and the afternoon to confirm the safety of your child.
Attendance Expectations at the CBE
Regular and punctual attendance is foundational to student learning, academic achievement and long-term success. The CBE Administrative Regulation 6020 - Attendance of Students applies to all students, and outlines the responsibilities for students, parents and school staff.
