It was a great week of learning and growing together. Thank you for your support and partnership as we begin the year. It is noticed and appreciated.

Blue Forms

This week, a blue form package was sent home. Please return these forms promptly to your child’s teacher. Thank you!

Communication

You will receive weekly updates from your child’s teacher with important information from their individual classrooms.

Meet the Teacher

September 18, 4:30–6:00 p.m.
This is a casual drop-in event, not a parent-teacher interview. Please come when you can and bring your child(ren) to see the classroom, tour the school, and say hello. (EES parents, your teachers will contact you to arrange one-on-one meetings.)

School Council

Our first School Council meeting will be held on September 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the school library.

Fun Lunch

Fun lunches help raise funds for the School Council, supporting our school with supplies and experiences. Our first Fun Lunch is on September 25—Domino’s Pizza! Orders must be placed by September 20. To order or set up an account, visit Healthy Hunger.

Welcome to the Buchanan Online Spirit Wear Store.
Please note: No exchanges or refunds. The online store is open until Sunday, September 28, 2025. Completed orders will be delivered to the school for pickup during the week of October 20, 2025.

Annual Community BBQ – Local Church

The Highland Church is hosting their annual community BBQ on September 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join us for burgers, hot dogs, carnival games, treats, and a petting zoo. See the attached flyer for details.
