Dear Buchanan Families
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week!
Over the next couple of months, our school will be focusing on resilience—what it means and how it applies to our daily lives at school.
We are also continuing to explore our school identity and what it truly means to be a Buchanan Bear. Today, our teachers and Kindergarten to Grade 2 students had the incredible opportunity to learn about identity and the significance of the bear from Blackfoot knowledge keeper, Anita Crowshoe.
We are learning and growing together, and I couldn’t be more proud of our students!
School Conferences
Please log into your MyCBE account to book a conference. If you need assistance, feel free to call the office for support. If you prefer a phone call instead, please reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule one.
Conference times:
📅 Thursday, March 20 – 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
📅 Friday, March 21 – 8:20 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
School Survey
Thank you to all the families who have already completed the School Engagement Survey! The survey is open until March 31, and we would love to hear from even more families.

Pick-Up & Drop-Off Safety Reminder
We kindly ask all parents and guardians to use the designated crosswalk during drop-off and pick-up times. Jaywalking can be dangerous, especially with the high volume of cars, buses, and students in the area.
Keeping our school community safe is our top priority! Thank you for using the crosswalk and setting a great example for our students. We truly appreciate your support and cooperation.
