What is a School Development Plan?  

A School Development Plan (SDP) is guide that helps our school improve and grow. It includes goals for the school based on data. It also includes a plan to track progress, and the actions the school will take to meet our goals.  

Buchanan’s Goal: Student Achievement in Literacy will Improve.  

This includes working with students to become stronger writers and working with teachers to ensure student identity and culture are part of the classroom.

February 27 - Lock Down Drill  

February 27 – Kernels Fun Snack form due 

March 6 - Kernels Fun Snack Day 

March 10-14- Visions Eye Exams for all students. Please return the form.  

March 11-14- School wide ice-skating week! 

March 20 and 21 - Parent-Teacher Conferences (Thursday PM / Friday AM)  

March 21- No School for Students  

March 24- 28- SPRING BREAK  

March 31- Classes Resume and drumming residency begins.
