Dear Buchanan Families,
As we head into the Teacher’s Convention and the Family Day long weekend, I would like to again express my gratitude to all of you for being such a wonderful school community.
I would also like to remind you that tonight is Buchanan’s School Council Meeting. You can join us in person at the school or online. Hope to see you at 6:30 p.m. tonight!
What is a School Development Plan?
A School Development Plan (SDP) is guide that helps our school improve and grow. It includes goals for the school based on data. It also includes a plan to track progress, and the actions the school will take to meet our goals. Buchanan’s Goal: Student Achievement in Literacy will Improve. This includes working with students to become stronger writers and working with teachers to ensure student identity and culture are part of the classroom.

February 17 – No School – Family Day

March 10 -14- Visions Eye Exams for all students. Please return the green form.
March 11 - 14- School wide ice-skating week!
March 20 and 21- Parent-Teacher Conferences (Thursday PM / Friday AM)
March 21- No School for Students
March 24 - 28 - SPRING BREAK
March 31- Classes Resume. Drumming Music Residency begins.
